Our family opened Santa Monica Pier Seafood in 1977, and we later renamed it “The Albright,” after the nautical knot that ties two cords together to represent two generations of family business. About five years ago, we expanded our family business with the acquisition of the restaurant next door, Rusty’s Surf Ranch.
The restaurant business can be tough, especially on the Santa Monica Pier. The summer rush helps cash flow throughout the year, but it’s a big puzzle navigating all the financial considerations. We rely on our Relationship Manager to help put it all together.
When we considered opening a third restaurant, we called our Relationship Manager first to discuss our financing options. Anytime we need something, they are always there for us and are quick to respond and deliver. Our bank has 100% of my business, including loans and deposits. The team is the best — it’s just not like this at other banks.
