Jason DiNapoli is President of MidFirst Bank California, bringing more than 35 years of commercial banking experience across the California market. A founding officer of 1st Century Bank, he served as President beginning in 2007 and as Chief Executive Officer in 2008, leading the bank through its acquisition by MidFirst Bank in 2016. He continues to lead the California market and plays an active role in the bank’s credit and governance framework, serving as a member on the Senior Loan, Fair Lending and BSA Committees.
Mr. DiNapoli began his banking career at Union Bank, where he completed the Management Training Program in 1991.
In addition to his executive responsibilities, Mr. DiNapoli has held several board and leadership roles, including serving as a board member and Chair of the Nominating and Governance Committee for Heritage Bank of Commerce and Heritage Commerce Corp. (NASDAQ: HTBK).
Beyond the bank, he is actively engaged in civic and academic organizations, having served as Trustee of the University of California, Berkeley Foundation, Vice President of the UC Berkeley Library Advisory Committee and a member of the Los Angeles Museum of Contemporary Art Drawings Committee, as well as a board member of the March of Dimes Southern California Chapter.
Mr. DiNapoli holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of California, Berkeley.
