Robert is a seasoned commercial banking executive with 28 years of extensive experience serving clients across a wide range of middle-market companies and specialty industries. His portfolio includes commercial real estate, nonprofits, Federally Qualified Health Clinics (FQHCs), food franchising, manufacturing and distribution, and construction to name a few.

Robert previously served as Vice President, Team Leader at Banco Popular, where he led relationship teams and managed a diverse commercial portfolio.

He earned a bachelor’s degree in management from the University of Phoenix and is currently attending the Pacific Coast Banking School at the University of Washington, one of the industry’s premier executive banking programs.

Deeply committed to community impact, Robert serves on the boards of the Los Angeles Centers for Alcohol and Drug Abuse and AltaMed Health Services.

He resides in West Covina, enjoys traveling and has a passion for classic cars. He owns a fully restored 1965 Chevrolet Malibu SS and is currently restoring a 1958 Chevrolet Apache.
