President
Hal has more than 35 years of experience in the credit risk industry, where he has focused the last 15 years on healthcare lending, promoting access to capital for projects that provide essential services for both private and public purposes. Hal is an advocate for quality healthcare and elderly care to all areas within the nation, including rural, metropolitan and urban centers. Hal earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Oklahoma.
Chris Altom
Senior Vice President
Chris is a senior vice president of MidFirst Bank National Healthcare lending. He has more than 20 years of commercial banking experience and 17 years of experience related to healthcare finance. In his current position, he focuses on business development in healthcare, including hospitals, surgery centers, medical office space and senior housing. Chris works with a broad range of healthcare-related clients, including medical real estate developers and operating companies. He previously worked at Stillwater National Bank, where he held multiple roles within the healthcare lending team, including business development, portfolio management and credit analysis.
Tonya Pfieffer
First Assistant Vice President
Tonya is a first assistant vice president of healthcare lending with MidFirst Bank. She has more than 25 years of banking experience, with a focus on hospital, long-term care and senior living facilities. In her current role, Tonya is responsible for overseeing new healthcare lending relationships from loan closing and beyond. Tonya earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Central Oklahoma.
Amber J. Smith
First Vice President
Amber is a business development officer and senior relationship manager with more than 25 years of banking experience. She has considerable experience managing an extensive healthcare portfolio that includes hospitals, surgery centers and senior living centers. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Oklahoma State University.
Amy Wilson
Vice President
Amy is a relationship manager with more than 20 years of banking and commercial lending experience. She is responsible for managing new healthcare lending relationships and being an ongoing trusted advisor to her clients. She earned her bachelor's degree from East Central University and a master's degree from Oklahoma Christian University.
Corri Edwards
Lending Assistant
Corri Edwards is an executive assistant with more than 25 years in the finance industry, including 10 years of commercial lending experience.
Jacob Janzen
Credit Analyst
Jacob is an experienced credit analyst for the healthcare lending team. He focuses on providing accurate and efficient underwriting to ensure the timely closure of transactions. Jacob earned his Master of Business Administration from The University of Oklahoma. When not assisting clients, he dedicates his time to the Varsity O Club, Acts 2 United Methodist Church and Scouts of America.
Silas Maple
Credit Analyst
Silas is an experienced credit analyst for the healthcare lending team. He focuses on serving clients within healthcare systems, senior living facilities, long-term care and ambulatory surgery centers. Silas earned his Master of Business Administration from The University of Oklahoma. When not assisting clients, he enjoys visiting local museums and many of Oklahoma’s hiking trails.
